SIR TOMMY

Sir Tommy, born Howard Mapp, is a reggae sound system owner, record producer, engineer & studio owner, and master carpenter by trade. He grew up in the Waltham Park Road area on Oakland Avenue, Kingston 11. In 1971, he attended Alexander Hamilton High School in Brooklyn, New York. In 1973, while attending high school, Sir Tommy’s began playing his sound system.
